I had the privilege of attending the PAEI training session conducted by Dr. Richard Wong recently, and it was a highly practical and insightful experience. I personally found it such an enjoyable session because Dr Richard peppered the training with his own anecdotes and experiences making it a highly engaging session.

As Tokai’s MD, I found the PAEI framework — Producer, Administrator, Entrepreneur and Integrator — extremely relevant in understanding leadership styles, team dynamics and organizational effectiveness.

The key takeaway for me is that no single leader can be perfect in every role. Sustainable performance comes from building a complementary team with the right balance of execution, structure, innovation and people integration.

The session provided a useful lens for improving how we recruit, manage, communicate and structure our teams. It is especially timely as Tokai continues to professionalize the organization and strengthen our leadership bench for future growth.
